Tiletamine-zolazepam can be administered for sedation or anesthesia of short-to-moderate duration or for induction before gaseous anesthesia. Separately tiletamine and zolazepam do not have ideal sedative or anesthetic properties but together they produce dissociative anesthesia, muscle relaxation and some analgesia.
