Is Bromazolam legal?

Bromazolam is a non subtype selective agonist at the benzodiazepine site of GABAA receptors, with a binding affinity of 2.81nM at the α1 subtype, 0.69nM at α2 and 0.62nM at α5.

How will it be Bromazolam vs. Flualprazolam?

Bromazolam is better, IMO. It is far more manageable and forgiving and the dosages are much higher. At least 1/2 the potency of Flualprazolam and much closer to Xanax. It lingers a bit longer but you probably won’t really notice the residual if you have tolerance to flualp.

Imagine it would be more like etizolam, in terms of a practical habit, though I will not let myself get a habit again. A flualp habit had me barred out thinking I looked sober when I was wrecked. Clam was the absolutely most degenerate worst habit.

Mechanism of action

Bromazolam is a triazolo-benzodiazepine that is structurally similar to alprazolam and flubromazolam classified as narcotics. Alprazolam is in medicinal use and controlled under the 1971 UN Convention on Psychotropic Substances. Flubromazolam has no medicinal uses and has been a controlled substance in Finland nationally and in 2021 it was also declared a controlled substance under the 1971 Convention.
The pharmacological effect of benzodiazepine is based on the molecule binding to the gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor (GABA) in the central nervous system.

As a result of the binding, the inhibitory effect of GABA is enhanced. This results in a non-specific decrease in the firing rate of neurons, resulting in the dose-dependent effects of sedation, anaesthesia, and alleviation of anxiety and convulsions characteristic to benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines primarily affect the central nervous system. Flualprazolam serves as an example of a new benzodiazepine derivative with no medicinal uses that was included in the Conventions as a narcotic substance. It was evaluated by the WHO Expert Group in 2019. In 2021, it was decided to place under control three similar benzodiazepines, one of which is flubromazolam, which is the fluorinated form of the substance being assessed now.

Not a lot of published information exists on the pharmacology of bromazolam. On the basis of the structural similarity and the reported effects, it can be assumed that its mechanism of action is similar to other benzodiazepines. Bromazolam is metabolised in the liver by CYP enzymes, as are other benzodiazepines.
Based on user reports, the substance starts taking effect 15–45 minutes after an oral dose and the effects last for 5–8 hours. After-effects may occur up to 12 hours after dosing.
